Check Understanding in Large Classes with Stand Up/Sit Down

When you’ve got a large EFL class with 45 students it can be hard to quickly check your students’ understanding of new vocabulary. You can’t ask each student individually; there’s just not enough time. Fortunately, there are flashcard games that let you rapidly see who is on track and who might need some extra practice. In this video you’ll see how to play the simple EFL activity, Stand Up/Sit Down. There are also tips to make sure the activity is successful in any classroom.
